Current GreyMatter Homepage
Analysis:
I started with Usability test of current  GreyMatter Web site to understand how satisfied participants are with the Website and to identify changes required to improve user performancePeek Test and Guerrilla usability tests were adopted to perform this test.
Task given : Find what GreyMatter does and its services.
 Feedbacks :
 - Hard to understand the types of services being offered.
 - Website is outdated.
- Broken links.
- Confused about whether it is a Business to Business platform or a job seeking portal.
- Non responsive site

Surveys were sent out to potential job seekers to understand what they are looking for in a job. Participants were current University students and recent graduates from India and Australia. These surveys helped me to understand the audience and competitors.
Survey Results:
Research:
Current Userflow: GreyMatter, as a staffing and HR company, is using two 3rd parties for candidate screening process. This causes longer recruitment process and inefficiency. Also, monetary loss.
LEAN Canvas:
To understand GreyMatter thoroughly, I refined the business model into a portable diagram.
I did a competitive and comparative analysis with other job portals to understand how they provide services. Also, to understand the functionalities and design patterns. Below are the few analysis takeaways.
Comparative Analysis:
Evaluations Phase:To review the usability of the existing website and uncover user experience issues that are preventing users from successfully completing tasks, I did a heuristic evaluation and a Usability checklist for GreyMatter.
Empathy Map: In addition to the interviews and surveys, I found Empathy map is a great tool to understand users deeply. Also, users feelings and thoughts.
Based on the Analysis and Research, I realised GreyMatter website needed a new design. To start with my design studio, I did a manual card sorting for the new Information Architecture. For me, It was very important to identify what is important for business and users. So I adopted a Bubble Chart technique.
Also, to identify the main features that needs to be implemented in my new design, I did a Feature prioritisation matrix.
Mood Board: I collected a number of pages from different websites. This helped me to develop a style guide for my design such as colour palettes, typography and layout. Also, this helped me to develop the responsive design for the GreyMatter website.
Design Studio and Sketches:
My first sketch started with mobile design. I took all my deign ideas for user test.
I used POPapp for user tests. After a few iterations, I started wireframing in Axure RP for rapid prototyping.
Wireframes: Number of iterations were done for the mobile version (responsive design). Based on the user tests feedbacks and iterations, I designed a new homepage with new Information Architecture.
Performance Metrics: Based on user tests at different stages, below are 2 metrics showing users different performance. One with current website and other with new design.
Task given: As a job seeker, search your interested job and shortlist. Also, Find
companies that interest in you.

New Userflow:
New Homepage
Summary:
A new responsive design.
New Value proposition.
Further research is required on employers side to get 100% user rate.
Recommendations:
Eliminate third party companies to speed up staffing services.
Introduce employee retention program.
Quarterly surveys and feedback from candidates.
